Men involved in Walterboro gas station shootout wanted for attempted murder

Officials with the Colleton County Sheriff's Office are looking for two men involved in a shootout at a Walterboro convenience store and gas station.

Deputies with the sheriff's office were dispatched at around 7:45 Friday morning. They said no one was injured, but there were multiple people at the store and "in the line of fire."

After reviewing the surveillance video provided above, officers have issued warrants for Christopher Rayshawn Brown, the driver of a green Nissan Altima seen in the video and Marcus Ray Goins, the driver of the black Chevy Silverado seen in the video. Both men are facing charges of attempted murder and possession of a firearm during a violent crime.

Officials say the truck driven by Goins was reported stolen out of Bamberg.

Goins was last seen leaving the scene in the Silverado with chrome rims, chrome step bars and a 7-inch lift. The tag on the truck is SC LWX-190. On the rear window are two decals - one is on the driver’s side in white letters “Simply Clean” and in the center of the back window is a green Monster Energy logo.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Colleton County Sheriff's Office at 843-549-2211 or Crimestoppers at 843-554-1111.
