North Charleston Firefighter arrested over the weekend
According to reports, a North Charleston firefighter was arrested over the weekend.
Darius Lamont Ryant was arrested in North Charleston for second degree domestic violence.
According to the Police report, Ryant had been in an argument with his girlfriend when the argument got heated.
According to police,the girl had knot on her head from being thrown on the bed, a bruise on her hip from being punched from close range, lacerations to her ankles and multiple rug burns to her back and shoulders from being drug across the carpet.
Since the incident, Ryant has been released from the Al Cannon Detention Center on a 5,000 dollar bond.
The City of North Charleston Fire Department confirmed they are aware of the charges and has put Ryant on Administrative leave until further notice.
