Northwoods Mall will be closed on Thanksgiving
If you are looking for a place to walk off that Turkey Day meal on November 23, you won't find it at Northwoods Mall in North Charleston.
The company that owns and operates the mall announced Wednesday that all of it's malls and shopping centers will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.
Stores are expected to open at 6 a.m. on Black Friday, November 24.
"The support that we received last year when we made this decision was overwhelmingly positive," said Stephen Lebovitz, President and CEO, CBL Properties. "It is based on this feedback from our retail partners, employees of CBL and retailers at our properties, as well as the customers in our markets that we made the decision to again close our centers on Thanksgiving Day."
CBL says exterior stores, theaters and restaurants with exterior entrances will have the option to open, but access to mall common areas will be restricted.
Department stores, movie theaters, restaurants, and retailers with exterior mall entrances will have the option to open their stores on Thursday. However, access to mall common areas will be restricted until 6 a.m. on Friday.
Northwoods Mall is the only CBL property in South Carolina.
