Pottery Barn recalls 1,000 bar stools

(WCIV) -- The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced Wednesday that Pottery Barn is recalling their Donovan Bar Stools for because of a fall hazard.According to the release, there have been 26 incidents of the stool's footrest breaking but no injuries were reported.The Donovan Stools were sold at Pottery Barn Outlet stores nationwide, online at and through the Pottery Barn catalog from March 2014 through June 2014 for between $230 and $250.The stools are{} made from mahogany wood and have a 15-inch round woven banana bark swivel seat that rotates 360 degrees. The stools come in five colors: red, mahogany, Tuscan chestnut, antique white and black. Each color was sold in two sizes: counter height at 24 inches tall and bar height at 30 inches tall. SKU numbers are printed on the box, as the item number on the shipping receipt and online in the customer's account history.
