Shooting victim shows up at North Charleston City Hall
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) —
Authorities say a woman was grazed by gunfire in a Wednesday morning shooting in Charleston, then drove herself to North Charleston City Hall to report the incident.
According to North Charleston Police spokesman Spencer Pryor, the victim came to the city government complex claiming her vehicle was shot at on Allway Street in Charleston.
Because the incident did not take place in city limits, Pryor says NCPD has turned the investigation of the incident over to Charleston Police.
Charleston Police say the shooting happened near the intersection of Norman and Allway streets. According to police, the woman who was shot says another woman who she has a history of issues with began shooting at her inside her vehicle.
Charleston Police say they're in the process of securing warrants for the suspect's arrest.
