Three arrested on drugs, weapons charges in Georgetown

After a three-month long drug investigation, three Georgetown residents were arrested Monday at their home on Mercer Avenue and charged with possession of drugs, weapons and more.

Ronald McCullough, 23, Vincedric Holmes, 23, and Cianta Thompson,19, were charged with stolen property, a “significant” amount of crack cocaine, powder cocaine, heroin, two handguns, ammunition, U.S. currency, digital scales, packaging materials, marijuana and pills, according to the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office.

Agents with the 15th Circuit Drug Enforcement Unit also discovered implements and ingredients used to convert powder cocaine into crack, according to the sheriff's office.

The suspects are awaiting bond at the Georgetown County Detention Center.

Holmes has been charged with:

  • Trafficking Crack 200-400g
  • Trafficking Cocaine 28-100g
  • Possession of a firearm during a violent felony
  • Possesstion of marijuana
  • Possession of C/S IV pills

McCullough has been charged with:

  • Distribution of heroin
  • Trafficking heroin
  • Possession of a firearm during a violent felony

Thompson has been charged with:

  • Trafficking heroin
  • Possession of a firearm during a violent felony
