'Tis the season: 2015 Farmers Markets are opening soon!

      CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- If the warmer temps are reminding you about your New Year's resolution to be healthier, now is the time to stock up on fresh, local veggies!Farmers markets all over the Lowcountry are gearing up for business and we've compiled a list of opening dates for the market near you.--The big farmers market in{}Charleston's{}Marion Square is opening April 4, from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. Live music from Honey Smoke is planned as well as the Lowcountry Local First Plow to Chow.--Summerville{}also starts up April 4 at 200 S. Main Street in the First Citizens Parking Lot. They're open from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. Free parking is available{}for shoppers in the Town Hall parking garage.--Mount Pleasant{}sets up shop at Market Pavilion on Coleman Boulevard at Moultrie Middle School on April 8 at 3:30 p.m. and will run until 7 p.m.{}--Goose Creek{}holds their farmer market at 150 Howe Hall Rd. and will open Saturday,{}April 11 at 8 a.m. Organizers announced they will be taking WIC Vouchers and Senior Vouchers for Farmers Markets and SNAP/EBT cards as well as debit and credit cards.--North Charleston will be starting their market a few days later on April 17. Located at the Felix C Davis Community Center at 4800 Park Circle, they run from 12 p.m. until 7 p.m. every Thursday.The Farmers' Market at the Green Barn at Carnes Crossroads, located at 207 Parish Farms Drive, will take place Wednesday afternoons from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. beginning on May 6 and continuing through the end of August.--Another market in{}Mount Pleasant, this one at{}Towne Centre{}will open May 10. Vendors will be set up on Theatre Drive from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.--Freshfields Village's{}market sits at the crossroads of Kiawah, Seabrook, and Johns Island. They start up in June and run every Monday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.--We called{}Moncks Corner's{}farmers market and we were told they're open year round. They're located at Gulledge and Heatly streets every Saturday from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. and even run sometimes during the week.--Colleton's{}Farmers Market's opening day is in May. It's held on Tuesdays from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. and on Saturdays from{}10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at 506 E. Washington St. in Walterboro.{}Click here{}for updates on a start date.--Hilton Head's{}Shelter Cove Farmer's Market is located at Shelter Cove Community Park. Organizers are still evaluating when they will start.{}Click here{}for updates.--The Sunday Brunch Farmers Market on{}James Island{}located at{} Medway Park in Riverland Terrace has delayed the start of their season due to permit issues. Check their{}Facebook page{}for updates.--Georgetown's Farmers Market is{}located on East Bay Park and there's another one on{}Pawley's Island{}on Duncan Ave. at the Recreation Center. Town officials said the start date is still TBA.
