Folly Boat floats away, winds up in James Island man's back yard | VIDEO & PHOTOS
JAMES ISLAND, S.C. (WCIV) —
What Hurricane Hugo famously washed up 28 years earlier, Tropical Storm Irma washed away on Monday. The Folly Boat, an iconic yet unofficial welcoming sign to Folly Beach, was carried by storm surge inland to the back yard of a home on James Island.
ABC News 4's Caroline Balchunas in the video above catches up with Chris John, the man who owns the property the Folly Boat now claims for its port of call.
