Yemassee Police high speed chase puts one person in jail
The Yemassee Police Department had their hands full with this Lightning McQueen.
After being stopped for speeding without a license, 22-year-old Jordan Anderson took Police on a high way speed chase in his Kia Optima.
According to reports, Anderson took to the road at over 100 miles per hour, taking the officer on an over thirty-minute car chase.
The officer chased Anderson through two different counties, as he avoided spike strips.
Anderson was apprehended after being boxed in by Colleton County Deputies, who came to help the Yemassee officer.
Anderson was arrested and charged with speeding, failure to stop for an officer, along with driving with a suspended license.
He is being held in the Hampton County Detention Center on a $1558.75 cash surety bond.
