After a false alarm earlier Thursday in Jasper County, South Carolina, officials with the state of Georgia have confirmed two escaped prison inmates have been captured in Tennessee.

According to Georgia governor Nathan Deal, the missing inmates, Donnie Rowe and Ricky Dubose, have been captured.

Rowe and Dubose are accused of killing two corrections officers Monday during an escape from a Georgia prison.

ABC News affiliate WKRN reports the two have been captured after a foot chase in Rutherford County, near Murfreesboro.

WSMV-TV out of Nashville is reporting authorities believe Rowe and DuBose tied up a couple in Shelbyville earlier Thursday, then stole their Jeep and guns.

Georgia Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Nelly Miles told the Associated Press Thursday Rowe and Dubose were apprehended in Christiana, Tennessee.

Rowe and Dubose are accused of killing Baldwin State Prison officers Christopher Monica and Curtis Billue.

Authorities had offered a $130,000 reward for information leading to their arrests.
