Will Dunkin’ Donuts be sold to Krispy Kreme owner?
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) - Rumors are percolating that Dunkin’ Donuts might be sold to a company that owns rival doughnut seller Krispy Kreme.
JAB Holding Company is potentially interested in making a deal.
The company owns Krispy Kreme, Peet's Coffee and Panera Bread.
Bloomberg reports that Dunkin’ Brands Group Inc. would be worth at least $8 billion.
Dunkin’ shares traded higher on Tuesday.
