No bond was granted Friday for the suspect arrested in connection to Tuesday's triple homicide in the town of Ruffin.

Kenneth Mar'keith Chisolm, 19, has been charged with murder in the deaths of Phillip Miller, 46, Lori Miller, 52, and their 13-year-old son, Vincent Miller.

A 9-year-old girl, identified as the granddaughter of Phillip and Lori Miller, was wounded in the shooting, but has since been released from the hospital.

Chisolm appeared in bond court Friday afternoon. Colleton County Sheriff's Lt. Tyger Benton said deputies arrested Chisolm, of Green Pond, Thursday afternoon at a gas station and convenience store in Walterboro.

At the hearing, the daughter of the Miller’s questioned possible motives, speaking to Chisolm, who was behind metal bars.

"Half my family was taken from me,” she said. “Over what? Money? Something you can't take with you when you're gone?"

Chisolm proclaimed his innocence.

"I apologize to the family,” he said. “But, I am not the one. I am not the guy."

Court records show Chisolm was charged in November 2016 with two counts each of armed robbery and kidnapping. He was out of jail on a $60,000 bond.

Vincent Miller, the 13-year-old victim, was a student at Colleton County Middle School. The Colleton County School District released the following statement Friday regarding Miller's death.

The Colleton County School District family is deeply saddened and mourns with the Colleton County Middle School family the loss of Vincent Miller, a seventh grade student of Colleton County Middle School. He was a brilliant young man who enjoyed learning and had a wonderful sense of humor. He will be truly missed by the Cougar family. Our thoughts and prayers are with Vincent's family and friends.
