Timberland, Berkeley high school football game ended early due to player's injury
The Timberland and Berkeley football game was ended early tonight. A player for the Timberland Wolves went down with what appeared to be a serious injury in the third quarter.
Berkeley County School District Public Information Officer Katie Orvin Tanner said the player was transported by ambulance to a local hospital as a precaution.
Coaches from each side made the decision to end the game after the injury. The game was delayed for about 15-20 minutes as those on the field waited on EMS to arrive.
Katie Orvin Tanner said the player was released from the hospital that night.

Timberland will travel to Lake Marion next Friday. The Berkeley Stags will travel to Hilton Head.
