Goose Creek's Tramel Terry signs with Georgia

GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (WCIV) -- Goose Creek High School's star wide receiver Tramel Terry on Friday committed to the University of Georgia.{}

It's too early for Terry to actually sign his intent paperwork, the ceremony held Friday morning was to sign scholarship and financial aid papers. When he enrolls at Georgia, he will sign his official letter of intent.

Terry said after signing the paperwork that he will head to Athens after the Under Armour game. His roommate, an incoming quarterback for the Bulldogs, was also at the signing.{}

Terry took a moment to respond to the drama that wrapped up the end of Goose Creek's season, saying that being named Mr. Football means even more now.{}

The star Gator was also selected to participate in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas. He was an All-State candidate as a sophomore and junior. He was also invited to The Opening, an all-star summer prospect camp held on the Nike campus.
