CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Got a question for Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann? Here's your chance to ask.

The 2011 Iowa Straw Poll winner is taking part in a Town Hall meeting Thursday in North Charleston with Congressman Tim Scott.

"The goal of our Town Hall Series is for voters to ask for the presidential candidates the questions that are important to them," said Scott.

Voters are invited to go online and post their best questions at Congressman Tim Scott says those questions will then be asked during Thursday's Town Hall meeting, as well as questions from the audience.

"I look forward to joining Congressman Scott in the Lowcountry to talk with people about the issues they are concerned about," said Michele Bachmann.

"I share views on faith, family, fiscal responsibility, and national defense with the people of South Carolina and I am very eager to continue this dialogue with voters on the important issues facing our country."

The Town Hall meeting gets underway at 7 p.m. Thursday at Trident Technical College. The doors will open at 6 p.m. Seating is on a first- come, first-served basis.
