UFOs exhibit at Myrtle Beach moved back 2 days

    MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) - South Carolina will have to wait a few more days before experiencing a close encounter with unidentified flying objects.

    "Encounters: The UFO Experience" opens this weekend at Broadway at the Beach. The attraction was scheduled to open Thursday, but some exhibits did not arrive in time, so the opening was moved back to Saturday.

    The exhibition features more than 200 items, models, film clips and recordings pertaining to UFOs. It features seven galleries that will explore everything from the military's role in modern UFO reports to pop culture's fascination about the possibility of life on other planets.

    The exhibit is presented by Intergalactic Brands. The company's world premiere in Myrtle Beach.

    Broadway at the Beach includes theaters, nightclubs, hotels, 23 restaurants and more than 100 specialty shops.
