Miracle on East Bay Street

Christmas is coming to the Lowcountry! To celebrate, The Gin Joint is transforming into Charleston’s very own holiday pop-up bar, Miracle, from November 24 – Christmas Eve (12/24). This popular pop-up is expected to draw large crowds, so be sure to arrive early if you want to enjoy all the fun!

For one month only, you can drink your holiday spirit! And for you vodka drinkers (wait for it) this pop-up will be the only time of the year you’ll be able to indulge on your spirit of choice at The Gin Joint. It’s a Christmas miracle!

The menu includes a number of holiday-themed cocktails, including the Die Hard-inspired “YIPPIE KI YAY MOTHER F****R!” made with Barbados Rum, Cachaça, Trinidad Overproof Rum, Purple Yam-Coconut Orgeat, Pineapple and the “How The Gimlet Stole Christmas” made with the eponymous spirit, Gin, Pine-Caraway-Sage Cordial.

The Miracle® pop-up started in New York City in 2014, and has since expanded to over 50 locations throughout the world. The Gin Joint’s Miracle pop-up is the only one happening in the entire state of South Carolina! Each of the cocktails served at all locations will be served in Cocktail Kingdom®’s custom Miracle glassware (including mugs, coupes, highballs and rocks glasses). This year, select locations will have this glassware available for purchase with 10% of all sales donated to Action Against Hunger.

As Miracle on East Bay Street gets closer, be sure to follow the Gin Joint on social media for updates on the holiday shake up. Decoration sneak-peaks, cocktail teasers, and holiday happenings will all be posted on Facebook and Instagram.
