'Playful' and 'kind' S.C. foster child hopes to find her '4 Ever Family'

Felicity is in search of a '4 Ever Family' (WCIV)

Felicity is one of hundreds of children currently in South Carolina’s foster care system. She, like many others, is ready to be adopted.

The 10-year-old likes to play her guitar. And while she can only strum just a few notes, she will pull on your heart strings. The young girl possesses a vivid imagination especially when it comes to unicorns.

“They do look like ponies but they’re unicorns too and I like unicorns,” she said.

Like any vibrant child, Felicity is prone to silly moments.

“I have a talent that I can change my voice,” she shared.

And her special “super power?”

“It would be super speed. I would use it to be behind people and help them win races.,” she said.

There's three things about Felicity that her forever family should know.

“I’m funny, playful and very kind,” she said.

Each week, ABC News 4 will highlight a child that is currently available for adoption.

The coverage will air every Tuesday morning during Good Morning Charleston and again during ABC News 4 at 5 p.m.

The hope is this partnership will help increase successful adoption rates from 60% to 80% or more.
