Charleston fire marshal investigating Nassau Street fires

Authorities are asking for the public's help getting information on two fires set early Sunday morning, Feb. 10, on Nassau Street in Charleston.

The first fire was reported around 2:30 a.m. Sunday outside 92 Nassau Street. Firefighters found a large trash can on fire in front of the address, the Charleston Fire Department says.

Later, at about 4:20 a.m., police and firefighters were called to a burning debris pile behind a construction site at 82 Nassau Street.

Investigators say additional fire damage was found in front of the construction site, but the building itself wasn't damaged.
