The Dorchester County Sheriff's Office says a Ladson man shot and killed Wednesday night at an apartment complex just outside North Charleston city limits was called there by a 17-year-old girl to have sex.

That girl, Miriam Hannah Leigh Bortz, has been arrested and charged with murdering 20-year-old Stacey Bradley, the sheriff's office says. 18-year-old Matthew Raymond Zalenski has also been arrested and charged with Bradley's murder.

Bortz contacted the victim by phone Wednesday evening, asking him to meet at the Archdale Apartments off Shagbark Trail in an unincorporated area of North Charleston for sex, according to sheriff's office affidavits.

Once there, several subjects shot Bradley, then left together in a vehicle, according to the DCSO. Zalenzki reportedly made a full confession upon his arrest Thursday, warrants show.

Both Bortz and Zelinski remain in jail at the Dorchester County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing with a circuit judge.
