North Charleston police, SWAT team make 4 drug arrests, remove juvenile from home

A multi-agency effort resulted in a drug bust at a North Charleston home where detectives found heroin, marijuana, ecstasy, firearms and cash.

Four adults were detained and a juvenile was removed from the residence, according to the North Charleston Police Department.

The North Charleston Police Department Narcotics Unit along with SWAT and SPEED Team executed a search warrant at 1831 Pastor Ave. as a part of an ongoing investigation, according to the North Charleston Police Department.

During the search of the residence and vehicles, narcotics detectives located several bags containing heroin totaling 5.5 grams scattered throughout the residence (street value $1,900), 145 grams of marijuana (Street value $1,500), 9 pills of MDMA (Ecstacy) (Street value $225), and 11 pills.


The following arrests were made:

  • Javante Jontel Felder, 24, of Pastor Ave., was charged with trafficking heroin, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of MDMA (scstacy), possession of a firearm during commission of a violent crime, unlawful conduct toward a child
  • Iesha Ortiz, 27, of Pastor Ave., was charged with trafficking heroin, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of MDMA (ecstacy), possession of a firearm during commission of a violent crime, unlawful conduct toward a child
  • Derrell Lawrence Felder Jr., 36, of Pastor Ave., was charged with Trafficking Heroin, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of MDMA (ecstacy), unlawful conduct toward a child
  • Cheyenne Crystal Colwell, 27, of Pastor Ave., was charged with Trafficking Heroin, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of MDMA (ecstacy), unlawful conduct toward a child
