The Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office says it is searching for six suspects wanted in connection to more than $100,000 worth of items stolen across four Lowcountry counties recovered in the Santee area.

Sheriff Ravenell says investigators are searching for 40-year-old Terry Blewer, Jr. and 34-year-old Michelle Pendarvis in connection with multiple items recovered at Blewer’s Bonner Avenue residence.

Sheriff Leroy Ravenell says he received a tip from a concerned citizen that led to an investigation being opened on August 27.

He says items recovered by narcotics investigators include a stolen motorcycle, a lawn mower, a personal watercraft, a welder, and three trailers with their serial numbers removed.

The case was then handed over the the Burglary Task Force, which discovered Blewer, Jr. was residing in a stolen trailer, authorities say. They say a search of his Bonner Avenue residence also revealed a four-wheeler, weapons, and a large amount of sports memorabilia.

“There has just been a massive amount of items that have been stolen and stockpiled in an around a residence in Santee,” the sheriff said. “There are trailers, a motorcycle, household goods, and even a large camper.”

The sheriff's office says Blewer is facing charges for receiving stolen goods, possessing a stolen vehicle, and one count of receiving stolen goods (chop shop). Pendarvis is being charged for receiving stolen goods worth more than $10,000.

“Including the camper and motorcycle, trailers, and sports items, these recovered items total in value - a conservative estimate – is nearly $100,000,” Ravenell said. “We’re working now on returning these items to their rightful owners as well as identifying a few more owners.”

He says the investigation also led to the recovery of stolen items from unrelated cases around the Santee and Eutawville areas.

25-year-old Taylor Weatherford of Summerton, 33-year-old Tabitha Weatherford of Elloree, and 31-year-old Thomas Bradford Smith of Orangeburg, are wanted in connection to the theft of golf carts worth around $26,000 from a Santee golf course.

30-year-old Christopher Peagler of Santee is also being sought on multiple charges from unrelated cases. Deputies say he's wanted for the theft of a golf cart, an air conditioning unit, and for breaking into multiple storage sheds.

“Our investigators are beating the bushes for them right now,” the sheriff said. “They know we’re looking for them. And they know deep down, we’ll find them.”
