Sixth teen arrested in 'assault by mob' incident caught on video

UPDATE: Five more juveniles have been charged, raising the total to 11.

Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office investigators have charged a sixth teenager in an assault case that took place on Indian Hut Road in Andrews on Tuesday, Oct. 30.

Blake Allen Finley, 18, of Andrews has been charged for his role in the events that came to light after a video of an assault was circulated on social media, according to the GCSO.

Finley was charged with "Affray," which is consensual fighting in a public place to the terror of the populace, according to the state’s criminal code.

Second charges of Assault by Mob have been filed against three of the five teens arrested on Oct. 31, according to the GCSO.

David Dequan Rutledge Jr., Kenneth Daniel Newton and Gunnar Travis Gatlin remain in custody on those charges.

Anthony Robert Holmes and Alquavion Melvin Snow, charged with one count of Assault by Mob, were released on bond this morning.
