The Charleston County Sheriff's Office SWAT team was sent to Isle of Palms at around 4 a.m. Monday after a reported domestic dispute.

Multiple law enforcement agencies worked the situation in the 200 block of Carolina Boulevard that officials say began at around 1:15 a.m.

IOP Police Chief Thomas E. Buckhannon III said the situation was resolved at around 8 a.m. without injuries. He said SWAT was called after officers were sent to the home and received no response from those inside the residence.

Chief Buckhannon said police heard an argument, but those inside ignored their knocks on the door and instead cut off the lights.

Negotiators with the Charleston County Sheriff's Office worked with those inside to resolve the situation, Buckhannon said.
