Wanted man of alleged attempted Christmas Day murder turns himself in

The Colleton County Sheriff’s Office reports that Sam Quentin Brown turned himself in on Thursday.

Brown was wanted by the sheriff’s office on suspicion of attempted murder.

The incident happened on Monday, December 25, Christmas day.

According to the Colleton County Sheriff's Office, Brown, 29, of Walterboro, was wanted for attempted murder after pulling a gun and shooting at the father of his girlfriend's child.

Brown was issued a $35,000 bond Thursday.

The sheriff’s office said he posted bail and was released Thursday.
