BCSO: One person shot by unknown suspect in approaching vehicle, early Tuesday Morning

Berkeley County Deputies responded to a scene on Highway 6 in Cross, where someone had been shot.

Deputies say the initial investigation showed an adult male was walking down Spires Landing Road when he heard a vehicle approach.

The victim says a he, then, heard a gunshot and began to feel pain in his upper body.

Deputies say the victim told them the unknown vehicle kept going and did not stop, the victim then went to a nearby house and asked for help.

Deputies say the victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
