The men turned themselves in July 2, shortly after S.W.A.T. and the U.S. Marshals searched a residence in the Burbage Mobile Home Park, 6059 Roper Run Rd. Ext., in Ravenel, according to the sheriff’s office.

The man said three Hispanic males entered the home of a female and kept her in the living room while they assaulted and robbed him, according to the police report.

Juan Moreno cut his stepfather with a knife, slashing him in the face and left leg, causing major damage and substantial blood loss while threatening to kill him, according to the police report.

Jose Moreno struck him in his body with a closed fist, according to the police report.

The man added that his wife was in the front yard during the incident, demanding the keys to her husband’s vehicle.

The man said the three males fled the area in a blue van towards Main Street, along with his wife, who followed in the victim's truck.

The man was transported to the hospital for his injuries and was able to identify his wife’s sons as the ones who assaulted him, according to the police report.

He said he has known them for several years. He also identified them in photos, the report states.
