Camp Rise above brings together students and parents all year

Bowling night is a chance for Camp Rise Above participants to see each other during the school year, for families to have fun together but more importantly—a chance for parents to meet one another for support.

The parents all have children with developmental needs, who are served by Camp Rise Above in Charleston.

The camp lets both parents and children know they are not alone.

Parents hope that by getting together they can show support for the camp and they hope it will continue to grow through sponsors and volunteers.

Watch the video above and check out more about the camp or learn how to become a volunteer at Camps For Kids.
