Charleston County water parks set to open just in time for warmer weather
It may be cold in the middle of April but summer is fast approaching and the heat is too.
Don’t worry though, Charleston County Parks and Recreation has the Lowcountry covered.
CCPRC’s waterparks will be open for full operations on June 2.
Whirlin’ Waters Adventure Waterpark in North Charleston, Charleston County’s largest park will open for weekends only, beginning May 5.
Splash Island in Mt. Pleasant and Splash Zone in James Island will join the North Charleston location in opening Memorial Day.
According to the CCPRC all three waterparks are available to rent, fees vary.
CCPRC encourages area residents to take full advantage of the summer with the seasonal Basic Splash Pass, which allows unlimited admission into Splash Zone and Splash Island, or the Super Splash Pass, which also allows admission into Whirlin’ Waters!
