Coast guard medevacs 50-year-old man


The U.S. Coast Guard had to medevac a 50-year-old man 19 miles east of Charleston. According to a press release, a member of the Pacific Pearl was experiencing signs of high blood pressure Sunday. Coast Guard Sector Charleston says they were notified of the man's condition at 6 p.m. They sent a Coast Guard Station Charleston 45-foot Response boat with a medium crew. They arrived at 8:53 p.m. and brought the man to Station Charleston where EMS was waiting. The man was reportedly in stable condition.
