Deputies: Man arrested following shooting on Seaside Lane

JAMES ISLAND, S.C. (WCIV) — The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office says a man was arrested and one person was taken to the hospital following a shooting in James Island.

Around 1PM, deputies responded to a shooting on Seaside Lane where one person was shot in the leg. They were taken to the hospital withnon-life threatening injuries.

Deputies say they arrested 36-year-old Terrance McKelvey in the shooting. He's facing multiple charges including attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime

Deputies are investigating the incident.
