Georgetown Co. offering sandbags to residents on Monday, likely last day of distribution
GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) —
Georgetown County Officials say that sandbags will offered at two locations on Monday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., or until supplies run out.
There will be a limit of 10 sandbags per home, and proof of residence is required. Officials say Monday will likely be the last day for distribution because of flooding expected on Tuesday,
Sandbags can be found at the following location:
- Waccamaw Middle School on 247 Wildcat Way, Pawleys Island. Residents are to use Willbrook Blvd. to access the sight.
- China Chill gas station on 7919 N. Fraser St. (near the Choppee Rd. intersection).
