Georgetown Deputies arrest woman for allegedly using counterfeit money
The Georgetown County Sheriff's Office has charged a woman with forgery.
Deputies say 22-year-old Gabriella Rivera from Pawley's Island was arrested, with help from the public, in connection to an incident where a counterfeit $20 bill was given to a Pawleys Island merchant last Friday.
Rivera was charged with one count of Forgery, value less than $10,000.
She was booked into the Georgetown County Detention Center where she is awaiting her bond hearing.
