COLUMBIA, S.C. (WCIV) — The mass shooting at Robb Elementary School in Texas sparked a renewed conversation nationwide on gun laws and the politics surrounding them.
ABC News 4 looked into the financial contributions South Carolina politicians have received from the National Rifle Association (NRA).

Sen. Tim Scott tops the list at $20,400, with Congressman Jeff Duncan and SC Attorney General Alan Wilson trailing him at $11,000 and $10,500 respectively.
We reached out to Tim Scott's, Alan Wilson's and Tom Rice's offices on Monday. As of the publication of this article, we haven't heard back.
The numbers are as follows, listed in order of the politician's name, the number of NRA contributions they have received and the amount of money they have received in total since 2011.
