Isle of Palms Fire Department responding to reports of person struck by lightning
ISLE OF PALMS, S.C. (WCIV) —
UPDATE: Three people were taken to the hospital after a lightning strike Saturday afternoon, according to Isle of Palms Fire Chief Ann Graham. A woman went into cardiac arrest and was in serious condition.
Charleston Dispatch confirms emergency officials are responding to reports of a person struck by lightning at 21st Avenue on Isle of Palms.
Dispatch says the call came in at 3:00 p.m.
The Isle of Palms Fire Department is responding to the call, according to dispatch.
Witnesses at the scene say a woman received CPR after being struck by lightning.
