Man receives 'Order of the Palmetto' for outstanding achievements in the Upstate
Governor Henry McMaster has awarded the 'Order of the Palmetto' to Reid Lehman.
Lehman is the President and CEO of Miracle Hill Ministries in Greenville, South Carolina.
He's been involved with the ministries since 1957, and has received many awards for his service to children and adults in the Palmetto state.
Miracle Hill Ministries is the Upstate's largest, most comprehensive provider of services to homeless children and adults.
And now Lehman is excited to be able to bring awareness to the cause.
“It’s a deep honor that the state is recognizing the work that Miracle Hill does.. and Maybe that puts a little more focus on those in need, the homeless.. and the plight of children,” Reid Lehman said.
The Palmetto award is the highest civilian honor awarded to citizens of South Carolina for their extraordinary lifetime service and achievements.
