Michael Slager's sentencing set for a Day 2

Michael Slager's sentencing (WCIV)

(WCIV) -- The first day of sentencing for Michael Slager is now over.

Slager appeared in court, but did not say anything as three people, connected to his case, were called.

This included Feidin Santana, who used his cell phone to record the deadly confrontation between Slager and Walter Scott on April 4, 2015.

An FBI agent testified the taser came out of Michael Slager’s hand before he pulled his gun and shot Walter Scott.

Tuesday, the sentencing phase resumes.

It is possible for one more government witness to be called, then Slager’s defense team will begin calling witnesses.
