**Update: North Charleston Police Department spokesperson Spencer Pryor says Harry Donald Tatum was located safely in Mt. Pleasant.

The North Charleston Police Department responded to 2845 Tricom Street about a missing and vulnerable adult by the name of Harry Donald Tatum on Friday.

Tatum is described by police as a white male with “salt and pepper” hair, brown eyes, 5’08” tall, and weighing 150 pounds. Tatum is 86 years old.

He was last seen wearing a yellow golf shirt, green windbreaker, and tan pants according to NCPD.

Police say officers were able to speak with the man’s wife who said that while she was at an appointment, her husband was waiting on her in the vehicle.

The wife told police that after she was done with her appointment she found her husband had left with the vehicle.

Officials say that the wife said her husband suffers from severe dementia.

Officials say the vehicle is a grey in color Kia Optima bearing the S.C. tag number IJN 656.

NCPD also says Tatum does not have a cell phone and that his wife is unsure of where he could be going as he is not familiar with the area and has never left before.
