Police: 41-year-old man charged in connection to deadly shooting on Pine Field Court

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — A 41-year-old North Charleston man was arrested and charged in connection to the deadly shooting on Pine Field Court on February 27th, according to the North Charleston Police Department.

Police say Zaswan E. Rosendary was with murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.

On Saturday, police responded to Pine Field Court in reference to a shooting. A female victim, later identified as 74-year-old Mary Hayre, was found suffering from gunshot wounds. She later died from those injuries.

Rosendary will face a bond judge tomorrow.

Detectives are still investigating the incident.
