Police: Masked gunman injures two in drive-by shooting in North Charleston

Shortly before 6 p.m. Tuesday, North Charleston police officers responded to the parking lot in front of 7623 Hunters Ridge Ln. in reference to two victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

Both victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment, according to Spencer Pryor, with the North Charleston Police Department.

"The male victims allege they were walking on Hunters Ridge Lane when a dark colored Tahoe approached them. The back passenger opened fire, striking both victims, and fled on Hunters Ridge Lane toward Peppertree Lane," Pryor states.

The first suspect is an unknown male with a mask covering his face. He shot the victims with an unknown make handgun, Pryor states.

The second suspect is an unknown light-skinned female, driving a dark color Chevrolet Tahoe.

The investigation is ongoing.
