Victim left with wounded foot after early morning shooting in North Charleston

Police units responded to a neighborhood in North Charleston after a reported 'shooting incident' early Thursday morning.

A supervisor with Charleston County Consolidated Dispatch says the initial call came in just after 4:00 a.m.

EMS also responded to the scene.

Police began clearing the neighborhood just before 5:00 a.m.

ABC News 4 reached out to a spokesperson for the North Charleston Police Department to find out if anyone was hurt or if arrests were made.

Officers located a victim with a gunshot wound to the foot, police said.

That victim was transported for medical treatment. Officials say responding officers could not locate a crime scene.
