Jewelry theft suspects (Mount Pleasant Police)

Mount Pleasant Police say two jewelry stores were the target of two robberies and one attempted robbery this month. No arrests have been made, they are still searching for two suspects.

Reeds Jewelers was targeted twice. On May 3rd, they say a suspect entered the store, located in Towne Center, and managed to leave with a Rolex watch. Then on Saturday, May 19th, two suspects entered the store. They say one of the suspects went over to a sales associate, while the other tried to smash a glass case with a hammer. The glass did not break and the suspects ran out empty handed and drove off in a grey sedan.

On May 10th, officials say two suspects walked into Sandler's Diamonds and Time off Houston Northcutt and told the sales associate they were looking for a gift for their mother.

While one of them chatted with a sales associate, the other smashed a glass case with a hammer wrapped in a plastic bag. The suspect who was talking with the clerk held the door open as the other ran out carrying eight Rolex watches.

Both jewelers declined to comment on the incidences. No one was hurt.

The suspects are described as males in their late 20s to early 30s between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-9.
