The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds Demonstration team has cancelled its scheduled performance at the Joint Base Charleston 2018 Air & Space Expo, which is scheduled for Saturday, April 28.

Joint Base Charleston officials announced the cancellation on Thursday. The Thunderbirds have canceled several performances since one of their pilots died in a crash at a testing facility in early April.

The Aeroshell Aerobatic Team will replace the Thunderbirds as as the headliner act during the Air & Space Expo, Joint Base Charleston says.
