Two men arrested for a murder in Georgetown in February

GEORGETOWN (WCIV) — Two men were arrested in Kershaw County for a murder in Georgetown in early February, according to the Georgetown Police Department Facebook page.

Police say Javon Jacob Hair, 27, and Dyshan Malik William Fraiser, 26, had been on the run for the murder of Herman McCray Jr., on February 5 at 313 North Merriman Road.

The manhunt for the two men finally ended after the United States Marshal's Service and the State Law Enforcement Division caught a lead to a home in Kershaw County.

Both men were in possession of narcotics and firearms during the arrest as well, the Facebook post added.

Police say they will be brought back to Georgetown for murder charges.
