Former Clemson QB Kelly Bryant announces transfer to Missouri

    Former Clemson Quarterback Kelly Bryant is transferring the the University of Missouri.

    Bryant announced the move in a self-narrated video posted on his Twitter account.

    Bryant led he the Tigers to the 2017 College Football Playoffs, and was 16-2 as a starter. He won all four of his starts this season, but was benched in favor of freshman Trevor Lawrence.

    Bryant left the team after four seasons, and announced his intention to transfer after losing the starting job.

    He'll now have a chance to become the the starting quarterback for Missouri next season, thanks to a new rule that allows him to declare 2018 as his Redshirt season.
