Porter Gaud, Hanahan athletes sign letters of intent
It was quite a day at two Lowcountry high schools Wednesday.
First at Porter Gaud, Aaron Nesmith and Jake Lanford, with a total of 63 scholarship offers combined, made public their decisions on the future.
Nestmith signed a letter of intent with Vanderbilt. Lanford signed to play Ivy League ball for Yale.
Over in Hanahan, there was suspense and theatrics as Hawks runner Quincy Mitchell played a hat trick -- decommitting from the Gamecocks and signing a letter of intent to run for the Cincinnati Bearcats.
