A South Carolina native, Ashley grew up in Summerville and received her bachelor's degree in radio-television broadcasting from Bob Jones University in Greenville.
Ashley began her career at WPDE-TV in Myrtle Beach, where she covered tropical storms and hurricanes as they threatened the Palmetto state.
Following WPDE-TV, Ashley worked at KTHV-TV in Little Rock, Arkansas, as a reporter and morning anchor.
Ashley has been recognized with three Edward R. Murrow awards and several Associated Press Awards. She has also earned two Emmy awards.
Ashley returned to South Carolina in 2015, after nine years away. She loves telling people’s stories in the city she loves most.
Ashley is married to ABC News 4’s weekend sports anchor Daren Stoltzfus. They live in Mount Pleasant with their two Goldendoodles, Steve and Barb and their cat, Gus.
